On May 15, Chuong My Ward People's Committee (Hanoi) organized a conference to mobilize, dialogue and receive opinions from households and individuals in Cao Son TDP related to the draft plan for compensation, support, and resettlement to serve the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section.
At the conference, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board approved the draft plan for compensation, support and resettlement for households and individuals affected by the project, which clearly states the recovered land area of each household.
The conference recorded 18 opinions from related households. The opinions focused on verifying and re-examining the origin of land; compensation and support levels; regulations on resettlement; proposing to create conditions for issuing construction permits and changing land use purposes for the remaining area after recovery to stabilize life; and at the same time proposing to re-inventory trees, crops and assets on land.
Representatives of the Project Management Board and leaders of Chuong My Ward People's Committee directly answered and clarified each group of issues that people are concerned about. Professional staff also provided specific explanations for each case.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Chairman of Chuong My Ward People's Committee Trinh Duy Oai affirmed that the local government will not let any people be disadvantaged, and at the same time comprehensively consider the dossier and related factors to accurately determine each land plot.
The resettlement arrangement is carried out based on the remaining land area after recovery and the specific conditions of each household. At the same time, households eligible for resettlement will be supported with house rent for a period of 3 to a maximum of 6 months.
Emphasizing that the National Highway 6 expansion project is of great significance to the infrastructure and socio-economic development of Hanoi Capital as well as the locality, Mr. Trinh Duy Oai requested households to continue to coordinate and soon hand over the land after being answered, ensuring legitimate rights according to regulations, and limiting the occurrence of unwanted coercive measures.
Local authorities affirm that they always listen and accompany people in site clearance work, ensuring that the plan is implemented in accordance with legal regulations and harmonizes the interests between the State and the people.
