To create conditions for food and accommodation for officials and employees when returning to work at Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital facility 2 in Ninh Binh, Ninh Binh province is focusing on accelerating the construction progress of the social housing project for officials and employees of the above 2 hospitals.
Present at the construction site of 2 social housing projects for officials and employees of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital facility 2 in Ninh Binh on December 30, according to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, contractors are mobilizing manpower, machinery and equipment to accelerate the project progress.
Mr. Do Huy Tuan - Deputy Director of the Construction Investment Project Management Board (under the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Construction), the investor of the above 2 projects - said that 2 social housing investment projects for officials and doctors of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Facility 2 in Ninh Binh were started in August 2025, according to the approved decision, the completion time is in 2028. However, before the actual requirements, the unit is directing contractors to work overtime even at night to shorten the project completion time.
We are striving to complete and put into use in August 2026. Up to now (December 30, 2025 - PV), the construction volume of the above 2 projects has reached about 70% and the entire rough construction will be completed in January 2026, expected to be put into use in August 2026" - Mr. Tuan said.
Also according to Mr. Tuan, the social housing project for officials and employees of Bach Mai Hospital facility 2, is built on an area of about 1.2ha, including 2 10-story social housing buildings on land plots CT01 and CT02, with a maximum construction density of 40%. Scale of 216 apartments/1 building, total number of 432 apartments, construction floor area of about 11,500m2/1 building and construction of auxiliary items to ensure synchronous connection of technical infrastructure according to the approved plan such as internal traffic roads, parking lots, electricity supply system, water supply, rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage, greenery... Total investment is 284.97 billion VND.
Up to now, the capital allocated for the project is 82 billion VND and has been disbursed. The project does not require site clearance and has been allocated land partly by the Provincial People's Committee for implementation. The contractor has constructed the steel reinforcement, mixed-and-breaker and concreted the wall of the 7th floor.
For the project to invest in building social housing for officials and employees of Viet Duc Hospital facility 2 in Ninh Binh, it is built on an area of about 0.59ha, on land plot OCT-01, including 1 10-story social housing building, construction density of about 45%, scale of 216 apartments, construction floor area of about 11,500m2 and construction of auxiliary items to ensure synchronous connection of technical infrastructure according to the approved plan. The total investment is 143.4 billion VND. Up to now, the allocated capital is 41 billion VND and has been disbursed. The construction unit has processed steel reinforcement, mixed-and-breaker and concreted the 5th floor wall of the project.
