About a month after starting construction, the social housing project in Hoang Van Thai - Khe Chit Residential Area is being focused by the investor with machinery and manpower to deploy construction, aiming to meet the housing needs of low-income people and policy beneficiaries.
According to records on July 15 at the construction site, the contractor is gathering machinery and equipment and deploying construction items of the social housing project in Hoang Van Thai - Khe Chit Residential Area invested by VCN Investment Joint Stock Company.
The project has a scale of 93 adjacent social housing units, about 2-3 floors high.
These apartments are expected to contribute to meeting the housing needs of those entitled to social housing policies in Dien Bien province.
According to the Department of Construction of Dien Bien province, this is the first social housing project implemented in the area, marking the starting point in the process of realizing the policy of developing social housing of the Party and State.
Not only contributing to the formation of the province's social housing fund, the project is also expected to meet the housing needs of low-income people, workers, laborers and policy beneficiaries.
At the same time, through urban infrastructure projects being gradually completed, improving the quality of people's living space.
In the latest progress report sent to the Department of Construction, VCN Investment Joint Stock Company said that it is continuing to accelerate the construction progress, ensuring the implementation plan and disbursement progress as registered.
Expecting the project, Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan (resident of Tuan Giao commune) said that if he has the opportunity to buy social housing at a suitable price in the city center, he will register immediately.

According to the Department of Construction of Dien Bien province, the project implementation continues to demonstrate the local determination to improve the investment environment, accompany businesses and mobilize social resources to serve socio-economic development.
The social housing project in Hoang Van Thai - Khe Chit Residential Area is also a step to realize the goal of developing about 1,500 social housing apartments in Dien Bien province in the period 2021-2030.
When completed and put into use, the project is expected to contribute to ensuring social security, improving the quality of life of people, and at the same time creating more motivation to promote socio-economic development of the locality.
