Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision allowing Truong An 28 Construction and Development Investment Joint Stock Company to extend the land use term for 24 months for the Tam Son social housing area project, Tu Son town (now Tam Son ward, Bac Ninh province), with an area of 13,527.2m2.
The time to calculate the 24-month land use extension is calculated from the date the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decides to extend.
The decision clearly states that Truong An 28 Construction and Development Investment Joint Stock Company must supplement the amount of money within the extended period to the State according to the notice of the tax authority; adjust the investment project according to regulations;
At the end of the extended term, if Truong An 28 Construction and Development Investment Joint Stock Company still does not put the land into use, the State will recover the land without compensation for land, assets attached to the land and remaining land investment costs as prescribed.
Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Finance; Provincial Tax Department, Tam Son Ward People's Committee and relevant agencies and units to guide the implementation of procedures according to their functions; urge Truong An 28 Construction and Development Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the project to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.
As of the end of April 2026, Bac Ninh province has 102 social housing projects with a total scale of about 117,000 apartments.
In which, there are 31 projects with about 24,000 apartments that have basically completed construction and put into use; about 71 projects with a scale of nearly 94,000 apartments are being focused on construction.
Implementing Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP of the Government on assigning social housing development targets for the period 2026 - 2030, Bac Ninh province is assigned the target for 2026 to complete 19,900 social housing apartments.
