Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh ward (Hanoi) said that the site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 construction investment project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, is one of the key tasks of Khuong Dinh ward, which is always concerned, directed and organized by the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the ward.
Identifying this as a key, urgent task, of particular importance to the socio-economic development of the locality, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the ward have focused on leading and directing drastically; mobilizing the involvement of the political system; regularly inspecting, urging, and promptly removing arising difficulties and obstacles to accelerate progress.
By May 27, Khuong Dinh ward had completed the project site clearance work in accordance with the direction of the City Party Committee and Hanoi City People's Committee.
The ward has also completed the construction, appraisal, public disclosure, appraisal, and approval of compensation, support, and resettlement plans for cases within the land acquisition scope.
At the same time, organize the payment of compensation and support money, arrange resettlement for project demolition and hand over the site to the construction unit according to the set schedule.
Regarding resettlement, the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh ward said that the ward is arranged by the city to resettle with land at land plots coded GS1-1, GS1-2 in Thuong Cat ward and 500 resettlement apartments (the smallest apartment has an area of 46.05m2, the largest apartment has an area of 177.3m2) at 9 different locations in the city.
Khuong Dinh Ward has completed the approval of compensation, support, and resettlement plans for households, individuals and organizations, arranging 418 resettlement apartments and 202 resettlement land plots for eligible cases according to regulations.
The lottery for resettlement apartments is carried out publicly and transparently, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.
Regarding the payment of compensation and site clearance support for the project, by the end of May 26, there were 464 cases of receiving money with a total amount of 629 billion VND.
The remaining 179 cases have not received money, mainly related to completing dossiers and procedures or being considered and resolving recommendations related to compensation, support, and resettlement plans.
Payment work is organized publicly, transparently, in the correct order and procedures according to regulations.
On May 26, Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee sent a Submission to the Hanoi Department of Finance on supplementing the capital plan according to the flexible mechanism (2nd time) in 2026 to deploy site clearance for the project.
The project to invest in the construction of Ring Road 2.5 Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section has a length of 1.52km, a cross-section scale of 50m. The project has a total investment of 2,432 billion VND.
To implement the project, Khuong Dinh ward must recover 60,902m2 of land from 736 cases (16 organizations and 720 households and individuals).
