On April 18, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article "Ex appearance of super-thin houses in the Nguyen Tuan Street expansion project", reflecting the current situation in Thanh Xuan Trung ward, Thanh Xuan district (Hanoi), where the project to renovate and expand Nguyen Tuan Street is in the process of being implemented, but many houses with unusual shapes have appeared, causing loss of urban beauty.
According to the Inspectorate of the Hanoi Department of Construction, to carry out site clearance (GPMB) to serve the project, the authorities have mobilized and received consensus from 11/11 organizations and 160/160 households and individuals in demolishing the project and handing over the site according to regulations.
However, after completing the site clearance, there are 14 remaining cases with an area of less than 15m2, with a frontage or depth of less than 3m compared to the construction boundary. Notably, three works at 122, 124, 126 Nguyen Tuan Street have not yet dismantled the old works. The remaining areas here, although only under 10m2 and outside the boundary, have been surrounded by corrugated iron and built on the old walls.
Thanh Xuan Trung Ward People's Committee has coordinated with relevant units to propagate and mobilize owners to merge plots according to regulations. For cases that do not meet the conditions for land consolidation, the government will carry out land recovery, compensation and support according to current regulations.
After the inspection process, the Inspectorate of the Department of Construction requested the Management Board of Thanh Xuan District Construction Investment Project to provide documents and documents related to the overall project of Nguyen Tuan Street expansion. At the same time, it is required that the urban construction order management team in Thanh Xuan district and the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan Trung ward reported in writing, providing information related to construction order management in the area. The handling of construction violations (if any) for real estate works that are not eligible for existing after land clearance is also required to clarify.
Mr. Dang Hoang Linh - Deputy Director of the Thanh Xuan District Construction Investment Project Management Board - said: After site clearance, there are 14 cases that do not meet the conditions to exist. The Board has coordinated with the Ward People's Committee and related units to propagate and mobilize households to merge plots according to regulations. "For cases that do not meet the conditions for land consolidation, the Board will advise the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan District to reclaim land, carry out compensation, support and management in accordance with regulations," said Mr. Linh.
