The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province requested that the illegal villas must be demolished by January 15, 2025. Previously, the district set a deadline of May 10, 2025.

On December 26, news from the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province said that the Office of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province had issued a document conveying the direction of the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, Phan Van Dang, on handling illegally built villas in Tanh Linh district.

According to this document, the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district is assigned to urgently review and complete the construction violation dossier of Mr. C.T.S according to the comments of relevant departments and branches before January 1, 2025.

Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee also requested to notify Mr. S to complete the demolition of construction works violating construction order by January 15, 2025.

After the above time, if Mr. S does not comply, enforcement will be carried out according to the law. The process of monitoring the dismantling of this project must be reported to the Provincial People's Committee weekly.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate and guide the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district to complete the documents and procedures for handling the above villa project.

Previously, the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district issued Official Dispatch No. 2756/UBND-SX dated October 31, 2024 on postponing the time to handle Mr. S's administrative violation records to May 10, 2025.

As Lao Dong reported, this is Mr. C.T.S's villa, built without permission on a plot of land of about 600 square meters in a traditional brick and tile village in Gia An commune, Tanh Linh district since 2022.

The People's Committee of Tanh Linh district has issued a decision to administratively sanction the owner of this villa for illegal construction. However, Mr. S continued to complete the construction of the villa and the local authorities have repeatedly issued documents requesting him to voluntarily dismantle the illegal construction, but Mr. S has not complied.

Mr. S agreed to self-demolish the above-mentioned illegal construction, the deadline for self-demolishing this villa is October 20, 2024; then extended to October 30, 2024 and most recently extended to May 10, 2025.

In October 2024, the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Thuan province received a request for implementation of the project of the Service Area for displaying traditional brick and ceramic products of Gia An brick and tile craft village, Tanh Linh district of Cao An One Member Co., Ltd. After reviewing, the department responded that the location of the project applying for investment registration was not in accordance with the land use planning approved by the competent authority, so the above proposal was not eligible for implementation.
