Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee - has just signed and issued a decision approving the Plan for management and exploitation of houses and land that are public assets not used for residential purposes, assigned to the Housing Management and Exploitation Center for management in 2026.
According to the announced list, there are a total of 119 house and land facilities scattered throughout the city and some areas of the old Quang Nam province included in this plan. The total land area of these facilities reaches 135,606.7 m2, with a total floor area of 79,584.1 m2.

In the list of 119 facilities, there are many "golden" locations in the central area of Hai Chau district such as: No. 66 Tran Phu, No. 143-145 Tran Phu, No. 123 Nguyen Chi Thanh, No. 25 Le Hong Phong... and many old headquarters of state agencies in the old Quang Nam province such as Duy Xuyen, Que Son, Dai Loc, Nam Tra My.
In particular, many headquarters have been vacant for a long time, degraded, causing waste of land resources.

According to the decision of the City People's Committee, the exploitation method for these houses and land facilities will be implemented in the form of auction or listing rental prices.
The subjects eligible to rent houses include organizations and individuals. In which, the city prioritizes arranging for agencies and units to use as temporary working headquarters or organizations and non-business units according to regulations.
The purpose of using houses and land after lease is very diverse, including: Building workplaces; establishments for professional activities; commercial and service business (education - training, vocational training, health, culture, sports, environment, warehouses, stores for buying and selling, displaying, introducing products... ).
Da Nang City People's Committee assigned the Housing Management and Exploitation Center to be responsible for deciding on the method of leasing for each specific case. The plan also expects that the money collected from the exploitation of houses and land and also the revenue from the installation of telecommunications works on these assets will be paid to the state budget according to regulations.
