The information system and database on housing and the real estate market are gradually being completed, contributing to information management nationwide.

From July 30, 2026, the Information System, database on housing and the real estate market has been put into operation for use.

Accordingly, people can proactively monitor information on the system such as: information about real estate identification codes; list of commercial real estate projects that investors publicly disclose before putting them into business; overview of quarterly real estate market data, real estate transactions...

According to data from the Ministry of Construction, as of September 7, the system recorded about 11,000 accounts that have been granted to agencies, organizations and businesses; 120 real estate projects have been officially disclosed by investors; 3,097 individuals have been granted real estate brokerage identification codes; 900 administrative procedure dossiers have been received and processed through software and 3,482 real estate transactions have been recorded and updated on the system.

Initial results show the proactiveness of localities in creating and updating data. Hai Phong is leading in updating project information with 52 projects, followed by Dong Nai with 27 projects. In the field of issuing real estate brokerage identification codes, Lam Dong recorded 1,984 certificates, Hung Yen 302 certificates, Hai Phong 252 certificates and Gia Lai 723 certificates. Regarding real estate transaction data, Hanoi is leading with 3,471 updated transactions.

According to Deputy Director of the Housing and Real Estate Market Management Department Hoang Thu Hang, these data not only reflect the volume of data that has been put into the system after a short period of operation, but also show the urgent need to continue to standardize data from localities, ensuring information is updated continuously and consistently. When data is formed according to the same standard, is checked and connected on a centralized platform, information that is scattered in many agencies and units will gradually be converted into a common picture of housing and the real estate market nationwide.

Along with guiding the use of the system, the Deputy Director of the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management noted that acts of inaccurate declaration, distortion, loss or exploitation of data not in accordance with regulations will be handled according to legal regulations, in which Decree No. 339/2026/ND-CP stipulates strict penalties for organizations and individuals violating the obligation to provide and manage information.

A noteworthy point is that the System is gradually forming an electronic identification mechanism for important data subjects in the housing and real estate sectors, such as real estate products, floor area, brokerage practice certificates and individuals benefiting from housing support policies. This is the foundation to limit duplication, increase accessibility and create conditions for data connection between systems.

Notably, the platform is oriented to connect and share with the National Population Database, the National Land Database and other specialized databases, thereby gradually forming a data ecosystem serving state management.
