On January 4, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that it has issued regulations on the maximum price for required services related to notarization activities. This applies to notary practice organizations in the province.
Accordingly, the services with maximum price regulations include: drafting contracts, transactions; typing and printing papers and documents; photocopying papers and documents; translating papers and documents for notarization activities.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requests notary organizations to base on this maximum price frame to determine the specific price level for each type of service as required, ensuring that it does not exceed the ceiling level that has been issued.
In addition, notary organizations in Khanh Hoa are responsible for declaring prices in accordance with the law; and publicly list service prices at headquarters for people and organizations to easily access and supervise.
The promulgation of the maximum price is aimed at enhancing transparency in notarization activities, limiting the situation of unconsistent fee collection. Thereby, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights of people and organizations when using notarized services as required in Khanh Hoa province.
Representatives of a notary office in Nha Trang ward said that the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee's issuance of the maximum price for required notary services is a necessary policy and in line with reality.
This regulation helps notary offices have a unified basis in building price lists, avoiding the situation where each place collects a different level, causing concern for people.
When there is a clear maximum price frame, the declaration and public listing at the headquarters are also more transparent, creating conditions for people to directly supervise," shared a representative of the notary office.
According to representatives of notary offices, the ceiling price not only contributes to protecting the rights of people and organizations when using notary services on request, but also creates a healthy and fair operating environment among notary practice organizations.
We assess this as a positive step, both ensuring the rights of the people and helping notarization activities in the province become more disciplined and professional," emphasized the representative of the notary office.
