On January 2nd, the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province, organized a gift-giving ceremony of the Party and State on the occasion of welcoming the 14th National Party Congress and the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year for policy beneficiaries.
Gift giving is implemented according to Resolution No. 418/NQ-CP dated December 28, 2025 of the Government.
Accordingly, 3 cases receive a gift worth 400,000 VND in cash or by transfer including people with meritorious services to the revolution according to the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services; social protection beneficiaries according to Decree 20/2021/ND-CP; social retirees according to Decree 176/2025/ND-CP, including orphans, homeless or being nurtured at social protection facilities.
In case a person belongs to two or more groups of subjects, they will only receive one gift.
The Department of Culture and Society, Nam Nha Trang ward, has deployed giving gifts to people from December 31, 2025 and completed it today, January 2, 2026.
The cash gift-giving ceremony was organized by the Department of Culture and Social Affairs at 5 locations in the ward. Among them, the number of cases of people with meritorious services to the revolution is 800 people; social beneficiaries are 3,639 people. The total amount is 1.779 billion VND.
In Bac Nha Trang ward, the total number of recipients of gifts on this occasion is 2,236 people, with a total cost of 894.4 million VND.
Payment work is organized publicly, with coordination between professional staff of the ward and residential groups.
According to Decision 2814/QD-TTg dated December 28, 2025, Khanh Hoa has 17,505 people with meritorious services to the revolution and 92,534 people under social protection, social retirees (excluding those receiving care and nurturing) receiving gifts from the Party and State on this occasion.
The total budget allocated by the Central Government to the province to implement gifts from the Party and State on the occasion of welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year is more than 44 billion VND.
In addition to the policy of the Central Government, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also issued a resolution to support money for holidays and Tet in 2026 for many groups of subjects, with Tet Nguyen Dan 2026 support levels from 400,000 VND to 1.5 million VND/person.
In which, workers directly collecting garbage at Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company are entitled to a support level of 1.5 million VND.
In addition, during the 4 days of the Lunar New Year, the province supports an additional 100,000 VND/person/day for food for subjects being nurtured centrally at social protection facilities in the area.
