Focus on removing difficulties in the arrangement process
Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 303/KH-UBND launching the emulation movement "Successfully implementing the task of arranging hamlets and clusters in the province".
The movement was deployed to departments, branches, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, People's Committees of districts, cities, communes, wards and all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the province.
According to the plan, localities focus on propaganda, creating consensus among officials, party members and people on the policy of arranging hamlets and clusters; implementing the correct procedures and legal regulations, ensuring democracy, publicity and objectivity.

One of the key tasks is to review and resolve regimes and policies for redundant non-specialized personnel after arrangement, limiting the occurrence of problems and complaints at the grassroots level.
The Provincial People's Committee requests units to proactively remove difficulties, ensure smooth arrangement, maintain security and order, and at the same time link it with the goal of streamlining the apparatus and improving the operational efficiency of the local government system.
Collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and effective initiatives in the implementation process will be considered for commendation. Commendation is prioritized for the commune level and the team of officials directly performing tasks in hamlets and hamlets.
Many localities have to drastically reduce the number of hamlets and hamlets
According to statistics from Ca Mau province, currently the whole province has 64 communes and wards with 1,393 hamlets and hamlets.
Among them, there are 9 communes and wards with 30 or more hamlets and hamlets, including An Xuyen, Tan Thanh, Bac Lieu, Tran Van Thoi, Da Bac, Cai Nuoc, Luong The Tran, Hoa Binh and Chau Thoi.
There are 30 communes and wards with 20-29 hamlets and rows; the remaining 25 communes and wards have less than 20 hamlets and rows.
Notably, Tran Van Thoi commune currently has the most hamlets and wards with 38 units, while Ho Thi Ky commune has at least 11 units.

The volume of work to arrange is considered quite large when many localities have to drastically reduce the number of hamlets and clusters to meet the standards according to regulations.
In Long Dien commune, local leaders said that there are currently 21 hamlets, and the locality is developing a plan to arrange 11 hamlets. The arrangement is calculated in the direction of both ensuring standards, being suitable to actual conditions and convenient for management work.
The launch of the peak emulation period shows the determination of Ca Mau province in completing the task of arranging hamlets and clusters on schedule, creating a foundation for the process of streamlining the apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the grassroots government in the new period.
