On October 23, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee - had a working session with Viglacera Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company on the progress of the implementation of the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project.
According to the investor's report, the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project has a total area of 288 hectares, and was started on August 19, 2025.
Up to now, the project has completed the first phase of site clearance with an area of 116.2 hectares, of which 68.4 hectares are in Van Hung commune and 47.8 hectares are in Bac Ninh Hoa commune.
After the groundbreaking ceremony, Viglacera Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company has cleared and cleared the site to prevent re-encroachment within about 70 hectares.
The company's representative committed to simultaneous construction in November 2025, and by the first quarter of 2026, at least 50 hectares will have been invested in synchronous infrastructure, ready to be handed over to secondary investors.
In particular, Viglacera affirmed that it will complete the project 1 year earlier than the progress in the Investment Certificate.
Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the investor's efforts in implementing the project, and affirmed that this is a key project, of great significance in industrial development and job creation for the locality.
To facilitate the implementation process, the Provincial Party Secretary requested relevant localities to focus on accelerating site clearance work, ensuring land allocation on schedule.
Assign the Department of Agriculture and Environment to promptly develop a water supply plan for the industrial park, and the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with relevant units to arrange enough power when the project comes into operation.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh also suggested that Viglacera Company continue to promote the proactive spirit, deploy infrastructure items as committed, to create a clean land fund and attract domestic and foreign secondary investors, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province.
