Trang Bom conveniently connects inter-regional traffic
Trang Bom commune was established on the basis of arranging the entire town of Trang Bom and communes of Giang Dien, Quang Tien, Song Trau, with a natural area of 68.77 km2 and a population of 95,502 people.

With a favorable geographical location, close to important traffic routes such as National Highway 1, Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway and inter-provincial roads; having a development land fund, suitable terrain, large industrial parks such as Giang Dien, Bau Xeo, abundant human resources, attracting thousands of workers and experts to live and work; at the same time, within the planning orientation of the urban system development of Dong Nai province, Trang Bom has full conditions and favorable premises to continue to develop strongly in the coming time.

At the same time, Trang Bom commune has a favorable location in inter-regional traffic connection, associated with the urban areas of Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa and Long Thanh airport. The commune plays the role of a transshipment area, developing logistics and warehousing to serve industrial production. In addition, this is a core area for urban space development, contributing to population reduction and formation of concentrated residential areas.
Trang Bom strongly shifts from rural to urban areas
The most prominent feature of Trang Bom commune is the strong urbanization rate with a positive economic shift to industry and services. Currently, the proportion of industry - construction and trade - services accounts for 93.96% in the local economic structure.

Trang Bom also has a strongly developed education system with 27 schools at all levels, including many prestigious universities and colleges such as the Forestry University branch in Dong Nai province, Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics and Technology, meeting the needs of learning and training high-quality human resources.

These factors show that Trang Bom is strongly shifting from rural to urban areas, requiring the organization of a ward-level administrative unit model to suit management requirements and development orientations.

According to Mr. Le Ngoc Tien, Chairman of Trang Bom Commune People's Committee, when Trang Bom is upgraded to a ward, it will create new development momentum, favorable conditions to attract investment, especially in trade, services and industry, thereby creating more jobs and increasing income for people.

The overall adjustment project of Trang Bom urban master plan to 2045 is prepared with a scale of more than 327 km2, including the entire administrative boundaries of Trang Bom, Binh Minh, Bau Ham, Hung Thinh, An Vien communes and part of Ho Nai ward, Dong Nai province.
Trang Bom urban area plays the role of one of the key urban areas of the dynamic region in the Southeast of Dong Nai province and the urban area of Ho Chi Minh City, is a dynamic urban area for socio-economic development; Trang Bom urban area is a multi-industry concentrated industrial center, logistics and warehousing center in the East; a regional level entertainment, sports and eco-tourism center associated with the water source protection area of Tri An Lake. At the same time, it is a road and railway traffic hub, with high cargo transport capacity and convenient connection between the Southeast and South Central Coast, Central Highlands.
