Today (April 14), the Standing Committee of the 16th National Assembly continues the First Session. The expected time is about (1.5 days).
According to the expected program, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the Report on the results of supervising the resolution and response to voters' petitions sent to the 10th Session, 15th National Assembly.
Participating in giving opinions on the draft Report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the First Session, 16th National Assembly.
At the same time, consider the summary report on the results of supervising legal normative documents under the responsibility of the Ethnic Council and Committees of the National Assembly in 2025.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of breakthrough mechanisms and policies for the development of Vietnamese culture; gave opinions on the explanation, reception, and revision of the draft Law on Belief and Religion (amended); gave opinions on the explanation, reception, and revision of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation.
On the same day, the National Assembly Standing Committee considered and approved the Resolution on the establishment of 10 wards under Dong Nai province; considered and gave opinions on the establishment of Dong Nai city directly under the Central Government; considered and approved in principle the establishment of the People's Court and the People's Procuracy of Dong Nai city.
On April 15, the National Assembly Standing Committee continued the Meeting and gave opinions on the explanation, reception, and revision of the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on coordination mechanisms and specific policies to improve the effectiveness of preventing and resolving international investment disputes.
Giving opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the institution of public lawyers; giving opinions on explaining, receiving, and revising the draft Capital Law (amended).
The National Assembly Standing Committee gives written opinions on the Summary Report on the results of supervising legal normative documents under the responsibility of the Ethnic Council and Committees of the National Assembly in the first quarter of 2026.
The explanation, reception, and revision of the drafts: Law on Civil Status (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Legal Aid; Law on Access to Information (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Notarization; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Representative Offices of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam abroad.
