Sending feedback, people in Ngu Hanh Son ward (Da Nang) said that the city is currently licensing the construction of many high-rise apartment buildings on streets with high population density and dense traffic density such as Sun Cosmo, Tran Thi Ly bridge, The Estuary Tuyen Son, Tran Hung Dao street apartment project...
People believe that this will create many consequences for the city such as traffic congestion, road congestion, traffic accidents, security and order, and air pollution.
Meanwhile, the central streets of Da Nang are already crowded, when these apartments grow up and have residents, it will affect the sustainable development of the city.
Responding to the above opinion, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City said that the content of people's recommendations related to the development of high-rise apartment projects in large urban areas has also posed many challenges for State management of the construction and urban planning sector in the current period.

Also according to the Department of Construction, in the city center, the People's Committee of Da Nang City approved the zoning plan for the Han River and the East Bank in Decision No. 2451/QD-UBND dated November 7, 2023, some areas in existing urban areas such as Sun Cosmo project location, Tran Thi Ly bridge, The Estuary Tuyen Son, apartment project on Tran Hung Dao street are oriented to organize high-rise buildings, increase land use coefficient.
The above projects have been approved by the People's Committee of Da Nang City for investment policy, approved for detailed planning, and granted construction permits according to regulations.

For newly expanded development areas from the city center, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has approved the planning of the ridge urban subdivisions (QD 1433/QD-UBND dated July 3, 2024), the High-Tech subdivision (urban part, QD No. 1317/QD-UBND dated June 24, 2024), the green core subdivision (QD No. 1458/QD-UBND dated July 4, 2024), the Innovation subdivision (QD No. 1687/QD-UBND dated August 5, 2024).
Based on the approved zoning plan, Da Nang City is calling for investment in urban area and high-rise apartment projects such as the Urban Area Southeast of the South bypass of Hai Van tunnel, the Riverside Urban Area Southeast of National Highway A1, the Southeast of the hillside Urban Area, the Northwest of the hillside Urban Area, the Urban Area (old district) Hoa Vang.
In parallel with the development of the existing urban area with the compact urban model according to the general planning orientation, Da Nang City and functional sectors are implementing many solutions such as increasing investment in transport infrastructure, renovating traffic routes in the central urban area, deploying static traffic systems such as public parking lots (multi-storey floating parking lots, underground parking lots), developing environmentally friendly public transport.
Da Nang City also prioritizes public space and green areas in the central urban area, has invested in 29/3 Square and is continuing to invest in projects such as Dien Hai square, renovating the landscape along the Han River (on the East bank), renovating 29/3 Park to create an airy space, serve people, and improve the quality of the urban environment.
