On the afternoon of June 24, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting on the progress of handling redundant houses and land for the approved plans until June 23. The meeting was connected online to communes, wards, and special zones of the province.
According to a report by the Department of Finance, the whole province has 1,244 redundant houses and land facilities that need to be handled. Of which, 145 facilities are subject to transfer, and 1,099 facilities are transferred to local management and handling.

As of June 23, 114/145 facilities subject to transfer have completed procedures; 369 facilities transferred to localities have completed handling. These facilities are rearranged by localities for agencies and units to use; and at the same time arranged to serve cultural, educational, and social security institutions...
At the meeting, some localities proposed that redundant headquarters, mainly commune-level health stations, still have problems with land records and the current status of use. These problems make it difficult for localities to develop plans for handling and exploiting assets.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam requested agencies, units, and localities to continue to review and accelerate the progress of arranging and handling redundant houses and land, ensuring completion progress in accordance with the direction of the Central Government.
In which, focus on completing the exploitation plan for 105 surplus houses and land allocated to land fund development organizations for management but currently not put into operation. All these plans must be completed and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee before June 30.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam requested the Department of Health to coordinate with the People's Committees of communes on June 25 to inspect, review, and agree with localities on the form of handling for redundant and problematic health station headquarters.
