Accordingly, Quang Ninh province strives to build at least 1 social housing project for the people's armed forces. The project is expected to be about 4.5 hectares, with about 1,700 apartments in Ha Phong ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.
In addition to the above project, according to Decision 1268/QD-UBND, dated April 25, 2025, of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province on adjusting and supplementing the Housing Development Plan in the province for the period 2021 - 2025, there are also a number of newly supplemented social housing projects, including land funds for social housing development in urban area projects.
These include: Land fund for social housing development at the Urban Residential Area project in Ha Khanh ward, Ha Long city; Land fund for social housing development at the resort combined with commercial services in Ha Phong ward, Ha Long city; Land fund for social housing at lot B.ODA-12, da giac, Hung Thang Urban Area, Hung Thang ward, Ha Long city...
Also according to Decision 1268/QD-UBND, Quang Ninh strives to complete about 13,771,000m2 of commercial housing floors, equivalent to more than 65,000 apartments, by 2025; at least more than 600,000m2 of social housing floors, equivalent to about 8,200 apartments; build about 10,000 land plots and resettlement apartments; build 22 public housing units for teachers.
For houses under the national target program: 470 houses for poor households; 934 houses for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives, including 316 newly built apartments and 618 renovated and repaired households); 648 temporary and dilapidated houses (including 408 newly built households and 240 renovated and repaired households).
