The Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project is approximately 117.5km long, connecting Khanh Hoa - Dak Lak provinces. The starting point is at the intersection between National Highway 26B and National Highway 1, Nam Van Phong port area, Khanh Hoa province; the end point is at km12+450 of Ho Chi Minh Road, avoiding the East of Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province.
The project scale has 4 lanes, investment phase from 2021 - 2025, design speed 80 - 100km/h.
The total investment of the project is 21,935 billion VND from the budget. The project is divided into 3 component packages, including package 1 invested by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; package 2 built by the Ministry of Transport; and package 3 implemented by Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.
Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway, part of the North - South Eastern Expressway in the 2021 - 2025 period, is more than 83km long and is expected to be basically completed by April 30, 2025.
