On September 4, according to Lao Dong's source, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a Decision approving the master plan of the smart border gate area at Huu Nghi international border gate (area of landmark 1119-111) with a scale of nearly 4.5 hectares.
The planning area is located on the specialized route for goods transportation at markers 1119-1120 at the Huu Nghi (Vietnam) - Huu Nghi Quan (China) international border gate pair.
The northern border is adjacent to the end of the cargo route for IGV vehicles, the south is adjacent to DT.235 road ( Huu Nghi - Bao Lam), the east is adjacent to the existing stream and the west is adjacent to the specialized cargo route.
The total planned area is 44,878.83 m2 (about 4.5 ha).
The planning aims to concretize the spatial orientation in the General Planning of Dong Dang town, the Zoning Plan for the Central Axis of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone and the implementation of the pilot project to build a smart border gate approved by the Prime Minister.
The area will be built synchronously with items: operator house, inspection - supervision area, repair workshop and IGV charging station, smart crane system, container and IGV parking lot, trees, internal traffic...
The planning space is divided into 3 areas including: IGV vehicle area (smart gate, inspection area, charging station, container yard...); area for common means of transport (operating house, parking lot, vehicle control area...); area for smart crane system arrangement connecting the two above areas.
The internal traffic system includes 4 lanes for IGV vehicles and 4 lanes for regular vehicles, ensuring clear traffic flow, limiting traffic conflicts when entering and leaving the wharf.
The ground clearance is designed from +285 m to +297 m, ensuring natural drainage to Dong Dang stream. The rainwater drainage system is arranged according to the automatic flow principle, using the D600-D800 and B400 BTCT culverts.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone to publicly announce the planning content; coordinate with the Department of Construction to deploy marking in the field and manage project documents.
