According to records, during this year's holiday, the number of import-export vehicles has increased compared to last year, with over 500 vehicles completing customs clearance procedures every day.

Thus, during the 4 holidays, 2,115 cargo vehicles were cleared, of which 230 were exported and 1,885 were imported.
Exported goods are mainly traditional products, including: dragon fruit, watermelon, banana, durian, cassava, coffee, etc. Imported goods are mainly chemicals, fertilizers of all kinds, steel and products from iron and steel, production machines and mechanical equipment...

Lao Cai Border Gate Customs also recorded that the state budget revenue from import-export activities during the 4 days off holiday through Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. 2 reached over 11 billion VND.
In November 2012, at the Kim Thanh bridgehead, Lao Cai province held the opening ceremony of Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II under the Lao Cai (Vietnam) - Ha Khau (China) International Border Gate pair.
This border gate is an important trade area as every day there are hundreds of import-export vehicles passing between the two countries.
In 2023, the total import-export turnover through Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II will reach over 1 billion USD, in 2024 it will be over 2.2 billion USD.
