Currently, a notice of land reclamation has been issued for 280/283 plots of land and 267 plots of land have been counted.
The State authorities have paid compensation of 146 billion VND to households whose land has been recovered. Currently, 53 plots of land with an area of 280,249 m2 have been reclaimed. Notably, 51 of these plots of land with an area of 277.999 m2 were proactively handed over by households to clean land before approving the compensation, support and land acquisition plan.
Currently, agencies are urgently completing the conditions for technical infrastructure of the resettlement area and arranging resettlement for people. Thereby, speeding up the progress of compensation and site return.
Solving the problem of selecting a highway construction contractor
For the 7 km expressway construction component project, the contractor selection results were available at the end of May 2025. However, after announcing the results, Son Hai Group issued a document opposing it. Son Hai Group is one of 4 contractors participating in the bidding, which was rejected. This company believes that even though the unit has the lowest and most economical bidding, it is not selected. Choosing a business to bid higher can cause waste and loss of state assets. Son Hai Group recommends that the investor re-dated the bidding package.
After that, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to inspect and re-evaluate the bidding process for the above project. Resolve the contractor's recommendations, do not let delays affect the project's progress.
Currently, the Ministry of Finance has issued a report pointing out some areas that are not transparent and clear. The Ministry of Finance recommends that the Government leaders direct the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to: inspect and re-evaluate the entire process of contractor selection, overcome the shortcomings and errors that have been pointed out; select another consulting unit with capacity and experience to conduct reviews, inspections, re-evaluations (if necessary)...
