Reclaiming more than 30m2 of land in Hanoi's Old Quarter

Hanoi - The city reclaims 34.8m2 of land at 20 Hang Vai, Hoan Kiem district.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Trong Dong has just signed and issued Decision No. 2565/QD-UBND on the revocation of houses and land with an area of the first floor (34.8m2 of land) at 20 Hang Vai (Hang Bo Ward, Hoan Kiem District) of Hanoi Trading Corporation - Joint Stock Company for management and use.

The reason for the revocation is to implement the land use plan for housing and land facilities after equitization of the parent company - Hanoi Trading Corporation, which was approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 2393/QD-UBND dated April 21, 2017.

The location, boundary, and area of the land are determined on the Current status Map at a scale of 1/200, established by Ha Thanh Consulting and Measurement Joint Stock Company, and confirmed by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (formerly) on December 4, 2017.

The City People's Committee assigned the above recovered land area to the Hanoi Land Fund Development Center for management and development of a land management and use plan according to the provisions of law. The Hanoi Land Fund Development Center is allocated land by the State without collecting land use fees.

The City People's Committee assigns the Hanoi Land Fund Development Center to contact the Department of Agriculture and the Environment to receive land handover in the field. At the same time, proposing the plan to use houses and land in accordance with the Land Law in 2024, the Law on Management and Use of Public Property in 2017, the direction at Notice No. 46/TB-VP of January 27, 2022 of the City People's Committee Office to ensure no loss of state assets.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for determining the boundary and handing over land on site to the Hanoi Land Fund Development Center.
