To date, 17/17 organizations and 42/43 households have agreed with the compensation and resettlement support plan to implement the square - park project in the East of Hoan Kiem Lake.
12/17 organizations have handed over land, including the State Treasury transaction office, Hanoi Housing Management and Development Co., Ltd., Golden Heart Charity Association, Hanoi Blind Association, HCC Conference Center, Sub-Department of Population, Children and Social Evils Prevention, Hanoi Audiovisual Co., Ltd., Hanoi Citizen Reception Board, Hoan Kiem Power Company (69C Dinh Tien Hoang), Hanoi Power Corporation, Hotel - Tourism and Commercial Service Co., Ltd., Northern Power Corporation.
Hoan Kiem Ward has received land from 38/43 households. The owner of the 9-story hotel on Ly Thai To street plans to hand over the land in February for units to proceed with demolition.
For the remaining 4/17 organizations, including the Institute of Literature, the National Power Transmission Corporation, the National Electricity System and Electricity Market Operation Company, and the Telecommunications and Power Company of Information Technology, it is expected to receive land in February, while the Department of Culture and Sports is expected to receive land after the city approves the arrangement of a new headquarters location.
Hoan Kiem Ward said that units are urgently dismantling the areas handed over by organizations and households, creating a clean ground to continue construction.
Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee has approved the entire compensation and resettlement support plan and decisions to recover land for 17 organizations and 43 households, striving to complete site clearance work in March.
Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee has been and is proceeding to pay compensation and support money to households and organizations under the project. At the same time, urgently coordinate with relevant localities to complete procedures related to land lease for electricity industry organizations and land allocation for households under the project.
The project to invest in building the square - park east of Hoan Kiem Lake has a scale of about 2.14 ha, bordering Hoan Kiem Lake and Dinh Tien Hoang street to the west; existing residential area to the north; Ly Thai To street to the east; Tran Nguyen Han street to the south.
