The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just sent an official dispatch to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities on reviewing and proposing to supplement land use needs to serve the adjustment of the National Land Use Plan.
Implementing the Land Law, the Planning Law, Resolution No. 174/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024 of the National Assembly and the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 1098/TTg-QHDP dated December 23, 2024, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to prepare documents to adjust the National Land Use Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and report to the Government Party Committee to submit to the Politburo and the National Assembly.
Implement Official Dispatch No. 14566-CV/VPTW dated April 26, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee Office on adjusting the National Land Use Plan, including the content of "... currently rearranging administrative units at all levels according to the conclusion of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat; National land use planning closely related to the general master plan; therefore, the Government Party Committee is assigned to continue directing the completion of the Report on adjusting the National Land Use Plan according to the new administrative boundary" and the direction of the Party Committee Secretary and Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 3782/VPCP-NN dated April 30, 2025 on continuing to review and complete the report on adjusting the National Land Use Plan according to the new administrative boundary to submit to the National Assembly for recommendation according to the direction of the Politburo No. 1456-VPTV dated April 26, 2025.
Based on the policies of the Party, the Resolution of the National Assembly, the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units of provinces and centrally run cities and to ensure the need for land use to serve the requirements of socio-economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security in the new situation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment proposes that the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities review and propose the need for land use by 2030 of localities, specifically as follows:
Review and adjust additional land use needs by 2030 with the Official Dispatch (if any).
In case there is a proposal to supplement land use needs, it is recommended to provide legal basis, proposal basis, data, documents, system of diagrams, maps, data... (paper form or digital form and send link to store information and documents).
Report on the proposal to adjust land use demand to 2030 and information and documents sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment before July 20, 2025.
