On April 7, according to information from Vietnam Airports Corporation, package 2, 10, fence of the boundary of Long Thanh International Airport (abbreviated as Long Thanh airport) outside the scope of 1,810 ha is being implemented by the contractor consortium to excavate the foundation of the project, construct M200 foundation concrete, construct foundation reinforcement concrete, construct brick wall construction, with a production value of 48 billion VND.
Bidding package 2. 10, Long Thanh airport border fence outside the scope of 1.810 ha started in October 2024 has a contract value of 78.76 billion VND.
Previously, package 2.4, fence within the scope of 1,810 hectares of Long Thanh airport had completed 100% construction with a length of 7,856 m.
Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee once proposed to soon complete the construction of a protective fence for the entire area of 5,000 hectares belonging to the Long Thanh airport project, with a length of about 30 km.
The solution is to build a closed fence around the Long Thanh airport project to prevent re-encroachment after clearing clean land.
