Real Madrid star Rodrygo revealed that he will only leave the club if Liverpool and Arsenal are no longer interested. Previously, the Brazilian player was rumored to be moving to both Anfield and the Emirates in the summer transfer window.
Despite the attention, no Premier League side really made an offer, and Rodrygo ended up staying at Real Madrid. Since then, he has found his playing opportunities in Spain increasingly limited.
The 24-year-old has only started twice in all competitions this season for Los Blancos. However, Rodrygo does not seem to be in a hurry to leave Santiago Bernabeu and insists he will only consider a new destination if he is informed that he is no longer in the club's plans.

"Every summer, the same thing happens to me. Whether I leave or receive an offer from this club or another club. Every week, if I pay attention to what is posted, I see myself appearing on the list. Of course, there are always invitations, I won't lie about that.
But I always make it clear to the club that I want to continue to be successful here, even surpass what I have achieved. Winning two Champions League titles at my age was a huge achievement, but now I want to win more European trophies for Real Madrid" - the Brazilian striker said.
Meanwhile, Rodrygo also confirmed that he had an interview with coach Xabi Alonso about his role in the squad after the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
He shared: "When the coach came, he called me in and said I knew he liked playing on the left wing, but I also needed him to take on other positions.
I have responded, coach, I am here to help the team. Everyone knows I like to play on the left wing and play better in that position, but I am always ready to play on the right wing or in the number 9 position. And I've been clear with him. The truth is he only left me, and I'm happy with my current number of minutes."
"I'm playing well, although logically I want to play more. I am in the process of improving and feel happy. I believe that I am performing better with each match" - Rodrygo shared more.
Rodrygo now has less than 3 years left on his contract with Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Arsenal have strengthened their squad with Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, while Liverpool recruited Alexander Isak for a record fee for English football.

According to Spanish media, Alonso has expressed his desire for Real Madrid's board to recruit Desire Doue, considering him the perfect piece for Los Blancos' attack-up plan.
To pave the way for the Doue deal, the Royal team will likely have to sell Brahim Diaz or Rodrygo, both to balance finances and create space in the squad.
With only 8 months left until the World Cup in the US, Canada and Mexico starts, Rodrygo will enter a key stage of his career, both at club and national team level.
If the situation does not improve before January, the scenario of him leaving the Bernabeu will no longer be something that can be ignored. An official transfer deal in the winter is very unlikely to happen. However, Rodrygo may have to consider a risky option: a short-term loan deal.
