Manager Lee Carsley has been forced to make a major overhaul after eight players withdrew from the England squad ahead of November's Nations League fixtures.
The Three Lions travel to Athens to face Greece in a game they must win, followed by a clash with the Republic of Ireland, which will mark Carsley's final game as caretaker manager before Thomas Tuchel takes over on January 1.
Carsley will say goodbye to an England squad without stars like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Levi Colwill, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Cole Palmer, Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka.
All are absent from this training session of the "Three Lions". Replacing them are Morgan Rogers, Jarrod Bowen, Jarrad Branthwaite, Tino Livramento and James Trafford.
Earlier, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola made it clear that he was not happy with Grealish's call-up.
Speaking before The Citizens' 1-2 loss to Brighton in the Premier League, Guardiola said: "After the match against Wolves, Jack Grealish was injured and was out for 17 days. He only returned to training for 20 minutes, Jack Grealish needs to rest."
Guardiola noted that Grealish wanted to be considered for selection, but was unaware of any conversations between the FA and City's medical department. "They can pick who they want. Grealish had two or three injury setbacks and couldn't get his rhythm back," Guardiola insisted.
Meanwhile, Saka and Rice's injuries occurred as Arsenal drew 1-1 with Chelsea in the Premier League. After the match, coach Mikel Arteta told Sky Sports: "They didn't look good. I don't know if their injuries are long-term. They both couldn't finish the game, so it's not good."
According to British media, a number of coaches have put a lot of pressure - both publicly and privately - on players to withdraw from the national team. This stems from the large number of matches and the tight schedule this season.
