On October 31, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan signed Decision No. 2106/QD-CTN on awarding 1 First Class Labor Medal; 33 Second Class Labor Medals and 19 Third Class Labor Medals to 53 individuals of national sports teams.
According to the decision, the First Class Labor Medal was awarded to athlete K'Duong of the National Youth Weightlifting Team. He excellently won the gold medal at the 2025 World Youth and junior Weightlifting Championship in Peru.
This is a noble award for the outstanding efforts of young athletes, and at the same time a remarkable achievement of Vietnamese sports in the international arena.
In addition, 33 other individuals were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal. Of which, 2 athletes from the Weightlifting Team and an athlete from the National Youth Weightlifting Team won a silver medal at the World Championship in Peru; 2 national weightlifting athletes won a gold medal at the 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championship in China; 4 coaches contributed to the coaching work at these tournaments.
In addition, 14 national Muay Thai athletes were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal for their gold medal achievements at the 2025 Asian Muay Thai Championship held in Vietnam; 10 coaches were also honored for their effective training and direction achievements.
The Third Class Labor Medal was awarded to 19 individuals. In particular, athlete Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu of the National gymnastics Team was honored after winning a silver medal at the 2025 Asian Championship in Korea. Coach Vo Dinh Vinh of this team was also rewarded for his coaching achievements.
In addition, 16 Muay athletes won silver medals at the 2025 Asian Muay Championship with coach Nguyen Huy Viet were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal.
This is also a source of encouragement and motivation for individuals and groups to continue to strive, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese sports in the regional and world arena.
