V.League 2024-2025 rankings: HAGL drops 1 place

MINH PHONG |

The top and bottom groups of the rankings have significantly changed after round 16 of LPBank V.League 2024-2025.

The highlight match of round 16 of LPBank V.League between Hanoi Police and Nam Dinh ended in a 1-1 draw. With this result, the team from Thanh Nam still maintains the top spot in the group with 31 points.

The remaining two positions in the top 3 are exchanged. The Cong Viettel has risen to 2nd place (28 points) after a 2-1 victory over Binh Duong. Meanwhile, Hanoi FC is only 1 point behind, ranked 3rd after a 1-1 draw with Hong Linh Ha Tinh.

4th place belongs to Thanh Hoa club with 26 points. The Thanh team held Hoang Anh Gia Lai to a 2-2 draw in the final minutes of the match.

Ranked 5th and 6th on the rankings are Binh Duong (24 points) and Hanoi Police (22 points). In addition, Hong Linh Ha Tinh still maintained 7th place (21 points) and Hai Phong in 8th place (20 points).

Most commendably in this round was Quang Nam's 3-1 victory over Ho Chi Minh City, helping coach Van Sy Son's team temporarily escape the bottom group - ranked 9th with 19 points.

The next three positions are Ho Chi Minh City (19 points), Hoang Anh Gia Lai (18 points) and Song Lam Nghe An (16 points). However, this is not a safe ranking because the score gap is very narrow.

Binh Dinh and Da Nang clubs continued to fail in this round, causing them to not be able to break away and still stay at the bottom of the table.
