During the meeting of the functional committees of the World Football Federation (FIFA) taking place in Doha, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino and FIFA General Secretary Mattias Grafsström.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino sent his congratulations to VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan after the Vietnamese football teams won the right to enter the finals of the 33rd SEA Games, and wished the teams to continue competing successfully.
Meanwhile, FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafsström highly appreciated the positive results that Vietnamese football has achieved in recent times, and expressed his belief that with a methodical, professional and sustainable development orientation, Vietnamese football will continue to make new strides in the future.
VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan would like to thank FIFA, President Gianni Infantino and FIFA General Secretary Mattias Grafsström for their attention, companionship and support for member organizations, including Vietnam.
He emphasized that FIFA's practical support in recent times has contributed significantly to helping Vietnamese football achieve many positive results, while gradually improving the quality of facilities, infrastructure and conditions to serve national teams.
The meeting continued to affirm the effective cooperative relationship between FIFA and VFF, aiming at the common goal of promoting the sustainable development of Vietnamese football, in line with FIFA's global football development strategy.
