Round 3 of the 2025 National U16 Women's Tournament: Phong Phu Ha Nam and Hanoi are held to a draw

HOÀNG HUÊ |

Both Phong Phu Ha Nam and Hanoi teams were held to a draw in the third round of the 2025 National U16 Women's Championship.

On the afternoon of June 20, the 2025 National U16 tournament took place in the third round.

Despite needing a victory to aim for the championship race, Phong Phu Ha Nam put on the field with the strongest squad to get 3 points against Ho Chi Minh City. Important attackers such as Yen Linh, Minh Anh and Linh Chi are all in the starting lineup.

After the opening whistle, Phong Phu Ha Nam played confidently. Coach Nguyen Thuy Linh's students created a good game against Ho Chi Minh City. However, the Southern representative calmly defended. They try not to let the opponent pass them in direct confrontations.

In the second half, not wanting to lose points regrettably, Phong Phu Ha Nam continued to attack. However, this was not a match where the strikers of the Northern team did their job well. When they have a chance to score, they regrettably miss it.

On the contrary, Ho Chi Minh City is not sharp enough to make a difference. In the end, the two teams drew 0-0.

In the second match, Hanoi is expected to have an easy match against Zantino Vinh Phuc. However, the capital team played ineffectively.

On the other side, Zantino Vinh Phuc accepted to give up the game. The urge to score has caused Hanoi's young players to lose the necessary accuracy. The match ended with a score of 0-0.
