Right after the two victories in the decisive matches on the afternoon of December 11, through VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his congratulations to the Vietnam women's team and Vietnam U22 team.
The Prime Minister praised the brave fighting spirit, strong will and bravery of the two teams when they both won an important victory to enter the semi-finals of the 33rd SEA Games, and encouraged the players to continue to maintain their concentration, aiming for the highest goal in the remaining stage of the tournament.
This is considered a great source of spiritual encouragement for the two teams at the key time.

Present in Thailand to directly watch the match of the women's team, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan said that this is a special day for Vietnamese football when both teams take the field at the same time and have successfully completed the goal of passing the group stage.
He appreciated the efforts to overcome difficulties, especially the fact that both teams led 2-0 early in the first half, an important factor in creating an advantage and reducing pressure for the rest of the match.
However, the VFF President also emphasized that the upcoming matches are "survival" matches, requiring the teams to maintain maximum concentration, continue to prepare carefully and compete with high discipline.
In order to promptly recognize the achievements and efforts of the teams, the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee decided to reward the women's team with 700 million VND and the U22 Vietnam team with 600 million VND.
