On the evening of May 3, the Vietnam women's futsal team had a friendly match with host China.
In the early minutes of the match, the Vietnam Futsal team was not good. The most significant situation that the Vietnam Futsal team has in the first half is the 7th minute, but the shot of K 'only takes the ball to hit the crossbar.
Entering the second half, the match's pace was pushed up and both teams proactively approached fiercely. In the 26th minute, the home team China opened the scoring after a fierce dispute. Just one minute later, China quickly doubled the gap when taking advantage of the space between Vietnamese players.
After conceding 2 goals, the Vietnam women's futsal team tried to find opportunities to counterattack. In the 31st minute, Bien Thi Hang had a good combination with captain Trinh Nguyen Thanh Hang, beautifully finishing to reduce the score to 1-2. Then, Thu Xuan had a pass to help Pho Ngoc Thanh Thy run into the 2-2 equalizer.
The official match time of the match ended with a score of 2-2. In the penalty shootout later, the home team won 4-3. Although the results are not as expected, the coaching committee of the Vietnamese women's futsal team highly appreciates the spirit of not giving up and the ability to break through after the difficulties of the players.
Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang commented after the match: "The players did not catch up with the match quickly and did not fully adapt after the journey, leading to 2 early goals conceded. In the second half, the spirit improved significantly and brought better results".
Today (September 4), the coaching staff will analyze and propose solutions to overcome the current problem to best prepare for the match against Hong Kong (China).
