On April 9, the Korea Football Association (KFA) successfully held a Congress and elected the 55th Executive Committee.
Accordingly, Mr. Chung Mong-gyu was re-elected as Chairman of the KFA. Coaches Park Hang-seo and Shin Tae-yong were also elected as 2 of the 5 new KFA Vice Presidents.
On this occasion, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan sent a congratulatory letter to KFA President - Chung Mong-gyu and members of the Executive Committee; believing that members of the Executive Committee will play a key role in orienting and maintaining the success of Korean football.
Regarding the appearance of new members, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan said the diversity and dynamism of the apparatus expressed the desire to progress and strongly renovating KFA, and believed in the direction of President KFA Chung Chung-Gyu and the close coordination of members, Korean football will complete the set goals, strengthen the position in the world arena.
VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan also sent a congratulatory letter to Mr. Park Hang-seo for being appointed as Vice President of KFA. With his experience and professional knowledge, Mr. Tuan believes that coach Park will continue to contribute to the Korean Football Federation in particular and football in general.
On this occasion, VFF Vice President Nguyen Xuan Vu assessed that the good relationship between KFA members and Vietnam will create opportunities for both sides to promote cooperation.
"There has been a very good cooperative and supportive relationship between VFF and KFA. The Vietnam team also had a very effective training trip in Korea during the preparation period for the 2024 ASEAN Cup, contributing to the success.
Coach Park Hang-seo personally is the one who is attached to and contributes greatly to the historical achievements of Vietnamese football. We hope that the cooperation between the two sides will be further promoted in the coming time, bringing benefits to both Vietnamese and Korean football," Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu emphasized.
