The seminar took place under the chairmanship of Mr. Nguyen Ha Xuyen - Chairman of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environmental Trade Union. Participating were Mr. Jacques Pernet, Jean Luc Bidel, former member of the UIS Executive Committee, and officials of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environmental Trade Union.
At the seminar, UIS shared many experiences in areas such as developing union members and building a strong union organization; implementing emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers; building, negotiating and implementing collective labor agreements, ensuring legitimate rights of workers.
Delegates attending the seminar exchanged and shared practical experiences from Trade Union activities in different units and sectors. Thereby contributing to enhancing understanding, connection and mutual learning in Trade Union work.
According to Mr. Nguyen Ha Xuyen, Chairman of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environment Trade Union, the content of the seminar was valuable experiences for both sides to apply in Trade Union activities.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environment Trade Union affirmed that the industry trade union will continue to expand international cooperation, innovate the content and methods of operation, contributing to building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class.
The seminar is an activity within the framework of the 2025 cooperation program between the Vietnam Agricultural and Environmental Trade Union and UIS.
