Discussing the Bank's Trade Union model
The working delegation of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union led by Mr. Tran Hong Tuan - Vice President of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union - attended working sessions with the Belarus Trade Union Federation, the Belarus Banking and Finance Trade Union, the Belagroprombank Trade Union, the BelVEB Bank Trade Union, the Belarusbank Trade Union, and Mitso International University.
These are banks in the Top 5 major banks in Belarus, with a system of individual and corporate customers spread across the entire territory of Belarus, with a global payment network, providing payment services for major sectors of the country such as import-export, investment in production and business, agricultural development, serving government public investment packages, retail, domestic and international lending... Mitso International University has modern facilities, many training facilities and provides undergraduate and postgraduate training programs in many fields, including economics, law, information technology and logistics.
At the working sessions, the units introduced the bank's Trade Union organization model. In which, it emphasizes the position and role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the rights of workers, implementing welfare programs for union members and workers; the role of the Trade Union organization in participating in negotiations, negotiating the signing of collective labor agreements to achieve agreements to improve working conditions and income; applying information technology in trade union activities...
Talking with you, Mr. Tran Hong Tuan informed about the major changes in Vietnam after the reorganization and streamlining of the apparatus in general and changes in the organizational and operational model of the Trade Union and the Vietnam Banking Trade Union in particular. With a new model of effective streamlining, towards the Trade Union Congresses at all levels taking place at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union aims to operate in the direction of innovation, creativity and flexibility, enhancing the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the rights of workers; participating in State management, socio-economic management, participating in inspection, examination and supervision of the activities of State agencies, organizations, units and enterprises; propagating and mobilizing workers to study to improve their qualifications and professional skills, comply with the law, build and protect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Ready to adapt to new situations
During the working process, exchanging news on Trade Union activities, the parties grasped each other's activities, thereby drawing experiences in trade union activities in each country to be ready to adapt to changes and difficulties in the new context.
Vice President of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union Tran Hong Tuan expressed his hope that in the coming time, the bilateral exchange between the Vietnam Banking Trade Union and the Belarus Banking and Finance Trade Union will be increasingly consolidated and developed, and there will be many more meaningful and effective delegation exchanges.
The visit and work with the Trade Union of the Banking and Finance Sector of Belarus of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union is part of the bilateral exchange program in 2025.
