The delegation of Vietnam Construction Trade Union (VTC) led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Chairman of VTC, visited, encouraged and presented gifts to union members and workers of Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company working at Pake Hydropower Plant and Nam Khanh Hydropower Plant (Lao Cai).
During the visit, the Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union presented 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and employees of Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company under Song Da Corporation.
These gifts not only have material significance but are also a source of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the Union's deep concern for the lives of workers.
This activity is part of a series of programs to implement the Plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. This is an effort of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union to support workers to overcome difficulties, stabilize their work, and contribute to the completion of the 2024 production and business tasks of the units in particular and the entire construction industry in general.
According to the Plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union plans to present a total of 7,000 gifts. Specifically:
Each gift includes 700,000 VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND.
In cases of special difficulty, support can be up to 2,000,000 VND/person.
The gift-giving program for union members and workers on this occasion will be implemented at affiliated unions, as well as through direct visits by the Vietnam Construction Trade Union to units, factories, and construction sites during Tet.
This is a practical activity to support and share difficulties with workers, helping them to have a warmer and more fulfilling Tet. At the same time, the program still affirms the union organization's companionship and concern for the lives and jobs of union members and workers in the construction industry.
