In 2025, the Vietnam Health Trade Union has developed 6,119 new union members (exceeding the assigned target by 493%).

According to the Vietnam Health Trade Union, in 2025, the Vietnam Health Trade Union has developed 6,119 new union members (exceeding the assigned target by 493%); established and received 12 grassroots unions, of which in the Peak Month for Union Member Development alone, 09 grassroots unions were established with 3,262 union members. Up to now, the Vietnam Health Trade Union has 120 affiliated grassroots unions with 60,694 union members. This is an outstanding result, demonstrating the efforts and high determination of the entire industry union system in implementing the targets of the General Confederation.

The work of introducing outstanding union members to the Party has been regularly and methodically implemented. During the year, 806 union members were trained and considered for admission to the Party, of which 125 union members were workers in the non-state sector (accounting for 15.5%). The grassroots trade unions have promoted their core political role in the unit, contributing to consolidating and developing a clean and strong Party organization.

At the same time, the assessment and screening of the quality of union members and the assessment of grassroots unions after establishment are seriously implemented, ensuring substance, contributing to improving the quality of union members and organizations. The Steering Committee for developing union members and establishing grassroots unions at all levels of trade unions was completed. Directives, Resolutions, and action programs are specified, directing grassroots trade unions to focus on implementing appropriate solutions, successfully implementing the goal of developing union members, and establishing grassroots trade unions.

According to the Vietnam Health Trade Union, the work of propagating and mobilizing union members continues to be innovated in terms of content, form and method. The application of information technology in propaganda, mobilization, and union member management helps activities become flexible, cost-effective, and in line with digital transformation trends (using zalo applications, Facebook, websites, etc.).

Trade unions at all levels have proactively approached businesses, employers and employees, mobilized them to join trade unions, and at the same time focused on building a network of core cadres, propagandists and volunteers working in developing union members. In addition, many direct and online communication activities are organized, using modern information channels such as social networks to reach workers.

The grassroots trade unions have proactively reviewed, propagated, and mobilized workers to join the trade union organization; promptly organized admission ceremonies, ensuring compliance with the prescribed procedures and processes. Thanks to that, the number of union members has increased significantly, contributing to consolidating and expanding the scale of the union organization, enhancing the position and representative role of the union at the grassroots level. In addition to the number of union members from newly established grassroots unions, the increase in union members is mainly concentrated in public service units with large-scale labor, non-state units operating stably, with the attention of employers and the Executive Committee of grassroots unions.
