On September 15, the People's Council of Dak Lak province, term X, 2021 - 2026, held a second thematic session.
The delegates voted and approved the submission of the Provincial People's Committee on the assignment of civil servant payroll in administrative agencies; number of people working in public service units and labor contracts... after the arrangement of administrative units in 2025.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council assigned the staffing quota for 2025 in the area with a total of civil servant staffing of 9,230.
Of which, 2,521 positions are assigned to the provincial level. In particular, the provincial departments and branches have 2,465 positions and a reserve of 56 positions.
Commune-level People's Committees are assigned 6,709 positions. Of which, there are 6,275 civil servant positions assigned to communes and wards and a reserve of 434 positions.
The total number of employees receiving salaries from the State budget in public service units ( self-guaranteeing a part of regular expenditure) and public service units (guaranteed by the State budget for regular expenditure) is 52,447 people.
For the number of people working (civil servants) at the provincial level after the arrangement, it is 16,325 positions. The number of people working (civil servants) at the commune level is 36,122 positions.
In particular, the Provincial People's Council approved the addition of contract teachers not exceeding 70% of the missing difference between the prescribed norms and the actual assigned staffing (school year 2025 - 2026) of 1,297 people.
According to the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province, in recent times, the recruitment of civil servants and public employees has been focused on and paid attention to by agencies and units. However, the number of positions that have not been recruited still has some influence the implementation of tasks of agencies and units.
