The Ministry of Education and Training announced the draft Circular Promulgating the Regulations on diplomas and certificates of the national education system to collect comments.
In particular, cases where the content of the diploma and certificate can be revised are clearly stipulated in Clause 1, Article 15 of the draft Circular. Specifically as follows:
1. Cases of editing the content of degrees and certificates:
The person granted a certificate or certificate has the right to request an amendment to the content stated on the certificate or certificate in the following cases:
a) Having been decided by a competent authority to change or rectify the civil status;
b) Re-determination of ethnicity and gender;
c) Supplemented civil status, adjusted civil status;
d) To register an overdue birth or re-register the birth;
d) In case the information stated on the degree or certificate is incorrect and provided by the learner and there is no fault of the competent authority issuing the degree or certificate.
In addition, Clause 2, Article 5 of the draft Circular also stipulates the authority to decide to revise the content stated on the certificate.
Accordingly, the person with the authority to decide to revise the content stated on the diploma and certificate is the head of the agency managing the original book for granting the diploma and certificate.
