Cold compress, take a cold shower
Using a cold compress or bathing in cold water does not ensure that peeling on the skin will be reduced, however, this method will help soothe the burning sensation on the skin.
Note, when applying a cold compress, you should put the ice cubes in a thick cloth bag or wrap them in a towel to apply. Do not apply ice directly to your skin because the temperature is too cold, which can be more harmful to your skin.
Use aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel has a soothing, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing effect on the skin. Applying aloe vera gel will help you speed up the healing process of sunburn on the skin. You should use natural aloe vera gel or gels that do not contain preservatives.
Bathe with oatmeal
Adhesive oatmeal has anti-inflammatory properties, so it can reduce dry skin and irritation caused by sunburn. In addition, acacia oatmeal also supports the skin's ability to retain moisture, bringing significant benefits in the healing process of sunburn.
For this method, you just need to put 2 to 3 cups of fine-tune oatmeal in a bathtub soaked in about 10 to 15 minutes and shower with water as usual.
Supplement enough water for the body
Drinking enough water every day is a necessary condition for you to have healthy skin. In particular, adequate hydration becomes even more necessary when your skin is damaged by sunburn.
However, if your skin is swollen, bulging, has blisters, ... then you should see a doctor for timely treatment.
