On hot summer days, dishes made from bean ingredients such as nut milk or sweet soup are not only easy to eat but also help the body feel light and cool down. Instead of using ordinary dried beans, many families now choose to incubate beans to germinate to increase nutritional value and reduce feelings of bloating.
Beans after germination will activate natural enzymes, helping the body absorb nutrients better. At the same time, this process also contributes to eliminating some compounds that cause indigestion, which is very suitable for young children or people with sensitive digestive systems.

The method is not too fussy, first choose black beans with even grains, wash them and soak them for 6-8 hours or overnight. You can add a little salt to the soaking water to reduce foam and sour smell. After soaking, wash the beans again and let them drain.
Next, use a pot or sealed box, line with a damp bucket under the bottom, put the beans in and spread evenly. Cover with a damp cloth, close the lid and place in a cool, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. After about a day, the beans will begin to germinate.

Germinated beans can be divided into smaller portions and stored in the freezer for gradual use. Every morning, just take them out and grind them with water to have a glass of warm milk, or use them to cook sweet soup or sticky rice, both are delicious and nutritious.
A little meticulousness in preparation will make summer family meals light, convenient and still ensure the health of family members.
