On June 1, Mr. Le Trong Thai - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Nam Ha Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. said that the grassroots trade union has coordinated with the enterprise to organize health check-ups for union members and workers working at the company.
This is a foreign-invested unit operating in Nam Ha Industrial Cluster in Tra Tan commune, Lam Dong province. In recent years, the enterprise has created stable jobs for thousands of workers in the commune and surrounding areas.

In order to care for the lives and protect the health of workers, grassroots trade unions coordinate with businesses to organize periodic health check-ups for 3,809 union members and workers. Of which, 2,168 people are regularly health checked annually according to regulations.
In addition, 1,641 workers belonging to specific work groups are arranged for health check-ups twice a year to monitor, screen and detect early occupational diseases as well as diseases related to reproductive health.
During the examination, workers are given many health check-up categories such as internal medicine, surgery - dermatology, ears, nose, throat, dentistry and eye examination. In addition, blood tests, ultrasound and cancer screening are also performed to comprehensively assess health status.
For positions in environments with hazardous elements or potential risks to health, businesses organize in-depth examinations of occupational diseases suitable for each work group, contributing to early detection of abnormal signs to have timely treatment and prevention directions.

According to the grassroots Trade Union of Nam Ha Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., organizing health check-ups right at the enterprise helps workers conveniently participate fully, save travel time, and not interrupt production activities.
The Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation assesses health care for workers as one of the key tasks of the trade union organization at the enterprise.

Through periodic health check-ups, occupational disease screening and early detection of health problems, workers have more conditions to protect themselves, feel secure in labor production and be attached to the business for a long time.
This activity also contributes to improving the quality of human resources, improving the working environment, preventing occupational diseases and demonstrating the companion role of trade union organizations in caring for the rights and welfare of union members and workers.
