Dedicated female union president
At Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School (Hue City), Ms. Bui Thi Hai Quynh - Chairwoman of the Trade Union, a French teacher, is a dedicated teacher, always devoted to her students and colleagues. After more than 25 years in the profession, Ms. Quynh is not only known as a good teacher but also an exemplary, responsible union official, always putting the common interest first.
Over the years, she has been continuously invited by the Department of Education and Training to participate in professional councils, reviewing excellent student and admission exams; she is a member of the French textbook appraisal Council for grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 according to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Not only is Ms. Quynh solid in her expertise, she is also a pioneer in innovating teaching methods, taking students as the center, helping them promote independent and creative thinking. From teaching practice, she has had many experience initiatives recognized at the grassroots and provincial levels.
Topics such as " applying project-based teaching methods in grade 6 French" or "Solutions for practicing writing skills for grade 6 students" are highly applicable and are considered by colleagues as good models that can be replicated. In the 2023-2024 school year, she was recognized as a provincial emulation fighter, recognizing the persistent efforts of a teacher who is both good at her job and passionate about the cause of educational innovation.
Not only is she "good at public affairs", Ms. Quynh also "haves to take care of housework". At the age of 50, she still maintains a simple lifestyle, actively exercises and always spends time with her small family. She shared that it was the support and love of her husband and children that motivated her to be more steadfast in her work. Her family has won the title of "Cultural Family" for many years, being a model of happiness, equality and sharing.
As the Chairwoman of the school's Trade Union, Ms. Quynh always considers herself a "connector" between the Board of Directors and the workers, between the organization and the union members. She focuses on innovating the content and form of union activities, creating an open and friendly atmosphere so that each union member feels listened to and shared.
Under her leadership, the Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School Trade Union organized many meaningful activities: supporting union members in difficulty, organizing a cultural - sports movement, gender equality seminar, reproductive health care...
Thanks to her scientific, democratic and sincere approach, Ms. Quynh has built a strong and united trade union organization, and has received Certificates of Merit from the Education Trade Union, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for many consecutive years. For her, the Trade Union is not only an organization to protect the rights of workers but also a common home, where each teacher feels respected and loved.
Creative female worker
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang - a union member of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company is the image of a young, determined, passionate worker who always strives to rise up in production labor. From an ordinary garment worker, after more than 12 years of efforts, Ms. Trang has become the "Golden Hand" of the Textile and Garment industry, a typical example of creative and responsible labor.
Joining the company in 2013, the then 19-year-old girl had a passion for sewing and a progressive spirit. Thanks to her hard work, diligence and learning spirit, she quickly mastered the stages and was trusted to be assigned the position of seamstress, a job that required high skills and absolute accuracy. Six years of working with the model sewing team have helped her practice a professional, meticulous and scientific working style.
When appointed as the leader of the model garment group, Ms. Trang not only completed her tasks excellently but also became the " Attic" of the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers". One of her outstanding initiatives is to improve the clearing of the folding step using a machine with a cutting knife, helping to reduce 20% of operating time, save equipment costs and reduce labor for workers. This initiative was recognized by the grassroots Trade Union, replicated in many garment unions in the factory, contributing to increasing productivity and production efficiency.
Not stopping there, Ms. Trang always actively participates in union activities, from art, sports, cooking competitions, humanitarian blood donation to donation to support colleagues in difficulty. For many consecutive years, she has achieved the title of Outstanding Worker, Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level, Outstanding Union Member, and has been honored by the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union as a typical and outstanding advanced individual for the period 2020-2025. The title of "Golden Hand" is a testament to his efforts and passion for the profession.
In addition to work, Ms. Trang is a responsible woman, always taking care of her small family, taking care of her parents and teaching them to study. In her, people see a harmonious combination of responsibility for work and love for the family, a typical image of a woman who is "good at public affairs, good at housework" in the new era.
Two women, two fields, two different journeys but all share the same quality: dedication, creativity and dedication to the collective.
