The training course is for 37 trainees who are officials of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union and the Ha Nam Provincial Labor Federation.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Vice President of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union; Phung Thi Phuong - Deputy Head of Organization and Inspection Department, Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union; Dr. Nguyen Duc Tinh - Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice Principal; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thanh Xuan - Director of Training and Development Institute and all students of the class.
The program is conducted in person and online via the Zoom application.
In his opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Duc Tinh expressed his appreciation for the University of Trade Unions and the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union jointly organizing the opening ceremony of the training course on Trade Union Theory and Professional Practice. Dr. Nguyen Duc Tinh emphasized that the training and fostering of trade union cadres is increasingly important, especially in the context of rapid development of information technology and constant innovation in the socio-economic structure, the need for cadres with high professional qualifications, good moral qualities and critical thinking, especially trade union cadres.
The course is not only an opportunity for union officials to update the latest information and knowledge in the field of trade unions, but also an opportunity for union officials to meet, exchange and learn, thereby helping to improve the capacity of officials, serving better in their work.
After the opening ceremony, the class organizing committee arranged lecturers to teach the first course as planned.
