It is known that the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor has 15 Trade Unions at the grassroots level with a total of 49 people. Of which, except for 17 people who voluntarily resign, the remaining 32 people are assigned jobs, including: 29 people working in the commune and ward bodies after the merger, 3 people working at the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Previously, on June 18, 2025, at the 5th Executive Committee Conference (expanded) and the preliminary review of activities in the first 6 months of 2025, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor announced the Decision to dissolve and end the activities of 15 Trade Unions at the grassroots level from June 30, 2025 according to the Central's policy of streamlining the apparatus. Including 11 district, town, city and city trade unions and the education trade union, the health trade union, the civil servant trade union and the provincial industrial park trade union.
