3,000 officials trained in finance and union inspection

Ha Tinh - On the morning of October 25, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized a training course on financial work and union inspection for union officials at all levels.

The conference was organized online with 1 central point and 15 points at the Labor Federations of districts, towns, cities, Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, Provincial Economic Zones Trade Union with more than 3,000 union officials and union accountants attending.

This training conference takes place over a period of one day.

Mr. Nguyen Van Danh - Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation, in his opening speech, affirmed that financial work and union inspection are important steps to ensure all aspects of union activities.

To build a strong and comprehensive Ha Tinh Trade Union, financial and trade union inspection work needs to continue to be paid attention to and effectively implemented by trade unions at all levels.

Collect and spend union funds in accordance with regulations; strengthen inspection and supervision of the management and use of union finances and assets; build strong enough financial resources to effectively perform the functions and tasks of the union organization.

“With that requirement, I suggest that all comrades in the central bridge as well as at the bridge points participate in studying fully and seriously, thereby mastering operational skills to apply in their practical work,” Mr. Danh emphasized.

At the conference, delegates attending the training were informed about the topic of finance and assets of grassroots trade unions with specific contents: General issues of trade union finance; collection and expenditure regime of grassroots trade unions; management of trade union finance and assets; accounting of grassroots trade unions.

Topics on inspection work with the following contents: Inspection and supervision procedures and some operations in the inspection work of trade union organizations, focusing on the inspection and financial and asset inspection procedures of trade unions; inspection procedures for signs of violations; supervision procedures in trade union organizations...

Through the training conference, union officials at all levels in Ha Tinh province were equipped with new knowledge and regulations on union finance, and improved their skills in inspection and supervision activities.

From there, better perform assigned functions and tasks, contribute to strict management of trade union finances, increasingly effective and economical use; at the same time prevent violations occurring during operations.
