On February 9, at Huong Sen Hall (People's Committee of Cao Lanh ward), the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation organized a program for National Assembly deputies to visit and give gifts to union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa - Deputy Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society; Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province, Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Trade Union of Cao Lanh ward and 50 union members and workers in difficult circumstances in wards and communes.
At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 50 Tet gifts to union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances; each gift worth 1 million VND in cash and essential goods.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa cordially inquired and shared the difficulties and hardships of union members and workers in labor and life; acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of trade union organizations at all levels in caring for the material and spiritual life of workers, especially every Tet and Spring.
Ms. Mai Hoa wished union members and workers to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, feel secure in labor production, be attached to businesses for a long time, and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Representing union members receiving gifts, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Han - union member of the grassroots trade union of Ty Thac Co., Ltd. - emotionally expressed her deep gratitude for the timely care and attention of Party leaders, the National Assembly, local authorities and the Trade Union organization, thereby adding motivation for workers to feel secure in their work and celebrate Tet with affection.
The program is a practical activity, showing the responsibility and feelings of all levels, sectors and Trade Union organizations towards union members and workers; and at the same time continuing to affirm the core role of the Trade Union in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, especially during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
