On the morning of February 6th, in My Tho ward, National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Hoang Mai - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society - visited union members, workers, and laborers in particularly difficult circumstances living in My Tho ward, My Phong ward, and Thoi Son ward.
Also attending were Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation and representatives of leaders of 3 localities with workers and laborers considered for gifts.

Speaking to share with workers and laborers, the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Social Affairs cordially inquired about life and jobs, shared difficulties, encouraged party members, union members, and laborers to feel secure in their work, labor, and be attached to units and businesses, and especially to strive to overcome difficulties and rise up in life. At the same time, the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Social Affairs also requested Party leaders, authorities and Trade Union organizations of units and businesses to continue to care for union members and laborers. In the immediate future, ensure that everyone has Tet and celebrates Tet. In the long term, there must be jobs, occupations, and stable incomes.

On this occasion, the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society also presented Tet gifts to 50 workers and laborers in particularly difficult circumstances. Each gift included 1 million VND in cash and a gift basket worth 300,000 VND.
On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Mai sent wishes to union members, workers, and laborers for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity.

It is known that this is the starting activity for a series of events where representatives of leaders of the National Assembly's Committees visit and give Tet gifts to union members, workers, and laborers in Dong Thap province.
According to the plan, on February 9, in Cao Lanh ward, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa - Deputy Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society will present 50 gifts to union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances living in localities: Cao Lanh ward, My Ngai ward, Thap Muoi commune, Truong Xuan commune, Thanh Binh commune, Binh Thanh commune and Tan Thanh commune.
On February 13, in Go Cong ward, Mr. Nguyen Minh Son - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Finance Committee will visit and present 50 gifts to union members, workers, and laborers in particularly difficult circumstances living in Go Cong ward, Long Thuan ward, Son Quy ward, Gia Thuan commune.

According to the direction of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, in addition to coordinating the selection of accurate and fair subjects, ward and commune trade unions and grassroots trade unions are responsible for arranging means of transportation to the gift receiving place and vice versa for union members, workers, and laborers far from the gift-giving point.
